Ana Cecilia Rouco is a bilingual Psychotherapist who graduated with a Master’s of Social Work degree (MSW) from New York City’s Fordham University in 1974. She earned her License in Clinical Social Work in the State of Florida in 1986. While living in the New York and New Jersey she worked in direct field services and later supervised caseworkers in different agencies involved in the prevention and protection of at risk individuals. After moving to Miami she co-founded a non-profit organization specializing in the treatment of substance abuse and domestic violence where she served years as the Clinical Director for over sixteen years. Ana Cecilia served as a volunteer for three years in Honduras, Central America, working to improve the lives of children and their families.
Ana currently enjoys working as an outpatient Psychotherapist with TheraCounsel, Senior Counseling and Advocacy., serving older adults and their loved ones in Miami and surrounding areas.
