Megan McKeon is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has an extensive background working with diverse populations. Since receiving her Master’s Degree in Social Work from Syracuse University in New York, she has worked in a variety of clinical settings. She has worked with clients and their families, providing home-based counseling. Megan also has experience working as a bereavement counselor within a hospice setting. Megan’s most recent experience includes providing supportive counseling with older adults residing in communities living organizations, and their families. Megan uses a client-centered approach in order to help clients feel more at ease. She enjoys providing counseling services in the client’s own living environment, as she believes clients have the ability to be more engaged in the therapeutic process if they are in a setting in which they are most comfortable.
