Julie is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who earned both her Bachelor’s and Master’s in Social Work at Florida International University. Julie began her career by serving as a case manager to older adults in a Hispanic community. She later worked as a child-support court liaison to non-custodial parents. However, Julie’s passion for serving the older adult population led her to work at nursing homes as Director of Social Services and in a hospice organization providing supportive and grief counseling to the terminally ill & their families. Today she enjoys providing services to older clients in their home settings as a Theracounsel Psychotherapist.
